The Family Support Services Division of Travis County is the largest provider of basic needs assistance in Travis County. Our organization strives to optimize self-sufficiency for families and individuals in safe and healthy communities. Family Support Services has a social worker at each of our seven community centers who provide clinical case management services to any residents of Travis County who want to develop a plan and create change in their lives.

Shelters

About
The Downtown Shelter and Social Service Center provides shelter for women, men, and families with children. We offer temporary shelter for up to 7 days as space allows. Clients may be eligible for extensions when enrolled in case management.
